The Direct Support Personnel III assists individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with growth and development of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living in the home, community or residential setting. The Direct Support Personnel III works directly with the resident and provides supports for activities of daily living and adaptive skills. The Direct Support Personnel III should follow the guidance of the resident/ patients Individual Service Plan.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or its equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Valid and current auto insurance and vehicle registration
Must be able to pass a motor vehicle check
Must own a vehicle in proper working order throughout the term of employment that includes regular vehicle maintenance, timely repairs, and adherence to all safety standards
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks
(5+ Career Coach's Needed)
$1,000 Sign On bonus - $250/month for 1st 4 months of contract
Travelling involved- driving
Everything in Chittenden county
M-F Day Shift for both positions
Age Range: All ages- adults- 18+
Need to be Comfortable with personal care
REQUIRED: Cover Letter, Resume, Lockdown Form and Commitment to 6 Months Temp to Perm
Local Pay: $24-$25/hr
