Position: Coach/Official Youth Sports Pay Rate: $17.00/hour Application Deadline: 8/31/2026 Foothills has an opportunity for energetic candidates who are interested in providing an incredible experience for the youth in our sports programs. Responsibilities Supervise and officiate games for youth athletes. Keep accurate attendance records. Develop lesson plans. Evaluate the skill level and progress of all participants. Implement rules and regulations ensuring that participants are following policies. Resolve disputes. Work shifts: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm on Saturdays, with the potential to work during the week from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Athletic Seasons May – October: Soccer April/August – October: Football October – March: Basketball May – August: Baseball Benefits Free use of Foothills recreation and fitness centers, swimming pools, and ice arena. Free drop‑in fitness classes (yoga, Zumba, aerobic classes, etc.). Golf discounts ($3 – $14 for 9 holes depending on day of week, free driving range and more). Discounts on other recreation programs/classes. Flexible schedule. Accrued sick time (1 hour for every 30 hours worked). Wellness program – earn points for additional program discounts/free classes. Scholarship program – eight $500 scholarships awarded per year. Eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 15 years of age at the time of application.
