Job Summary Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Account Manager (CSR) in an independent agency. The position requires a candidate who can immediately assume full responsibilities with minimal training. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with agency producers and owners. Use the agency management system—Newton—daily. Market and remarketing policies with carriers. Compose professional emails to clients, agents, and carriers. Complete Acord applications and supplementals. Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and MGAs. Handle change requests and endorsements. Process vehicle ID cards, invoicing, and carrier downloads. Create proposals and issue certificates of insurance. Provide backup support for other account executives. Qualifications Current Texas P&C license. Recent experience working in an independent insurance agency that serves multiple carriers. Extensive background in commercial insurance. Knowledge of carriers such as The Hartford, CNA, Acuity, Liberty Mutual, Chubb, AmTrust, Mercury, Nationwide, Texas Mutual, and similar. Proficient in using agency systems and highly computer literate (MS Outlook, Word, Excel). Excellent written communication skills. Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
