Role Description The Interior Design Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Portland ME. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with clients to develop personalized interior design solutions, offering expert furniture and design advice, and driving sales to achieve business goals. Consultants will also assist in creating visually appealing showroom displays to inspire customers and highlight Ethan Allen’s offerings. Qualifications Strong skills in Interior Design and Furniture knowledge, with the ability to create personalized, functional, and aesthetic solutions for clients. Proven experience in Communication and Customer Service to engage effectively with clients, understand their needs, and build long-lasting relationships. Expertise in Sales, including the ability to close deals, meet sales targets, and promote a wide range of luxury home furnishing products. Proficiency with relevant software tools and systems related to design and space planning is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment, while also thriving in an entrepreneurial setting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
