Highly respected mid‑size law firm has an immediate need for a Junior Paralegal to join their growing litigation team. This position is ideal for those seeking to establish a career in the legal field in Century City, Los Angeles. The position provides hands‑on training, mentorship, and the potential to develop into a long‑term role. Key Responsibilities Support attorneys and senior paralegals with day‑to‑day case management. Assist with drafting, preparing, and filing legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence. Perform state and federal court filings and coordinate service of process. Calendar deadlines and track litigation timelines to ensure compliance with court rules. Organize, maintain, and update electronic and physical case files. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors. Handle general administrative support related to active litigation matters. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (Paralegal Certificate is a plus). Litigation experience required - internships, externships, or entry‑level law firm experience acceptable. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with legal software or case management systems preferred. Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, onsite environment. Additional Notes This is a temp‑to‑hire opportunity with potential for permanent placement. Ideal for junior or entry‑level paralegals looking to gain solid litigation and case management experience. Must be available full‑time, Monday‑Friday onsite in Century City. Hourly rate range of $23 - $26/hour, based on level of prior litigation experience.
