Job Description

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking Systems Engineers to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens with a TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities: *Provide expert technical leadership in the development, documentation, and integration of concepts of operations, design specifications, system requirements, and engineering management plans *Conduct implementation planning and test plans as part of a team with senior executives, project managers, data scientists, and engineers. *Define and document concepts of operations, operational/system requirements, and use cases to support system development. *Perform high-level systems design. *Specify system/component performance and interface requirements. *Develop installation, integration, and acceptance test plans. *Continuously assess existing organizational processes and work products to optimize strategic and tactical efforts. *Coordinate with customers, project teams, and related organizations to ensure solutions satisfy requirements. *Define and communicate shared technical and architectural vision for solutions.

Required Qualifications: *Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to abide by MTSI's core values. *Strong leadership, communication, and teaming skills. *Highly organized with strong attention to detail. *Self-starter, able to take initiative and accomplish work independently with minimal guidance. *All levels of experience will be considered.

Education Requirements: *Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical discipline (e.g., computer science, mathematics, physics, etc.).

Clearance Requirements: *TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
The pay range for this position in MD is $90,000 to $225,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
