Location: Garland, Tx

Position Overview

We are hiring dependable and hardworking Restaurant Cooks for our new Golden Chick and Taco Rico restaurant concepts located inside our Exxon convenience store location.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, takes pride in food quality and cleanliness, and works well as part of a team. Cooks will be responsible for preparing menu items efficiently while maintaining food safety and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain food quality, freshness, and presentation standards
• Assist with food prep, portioning, stocking, and ingredient preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout kitchen and food preparation areas
• Follow all food safety and health regulations
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs
• Work efficiently during busy meal periods and rushes
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests

Qualifications

• Previous cooking, kitchen, fast food, or restaurant experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and food quality
• Ability to follow recipes and safety procedures
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
